Q: “Service Providers are now listed on Covalo”. What does this mean?
Covalo: Starting this week, we list various providers of personal and home care services on our platform. Specifically, we include companies specializing in the development, manufacturing and launch of personal and home care products:
This new listing is designed to help all kinds of personal and home care brands by finding relevant partners who can assist them to develop new and existing products faster.
To service providers, we offer a new and easy-to-use opportunity to market their offering online and to gain visibility to potential customers.
Q: Why was the expansion to service providers the next step for Covalo?
Covalo: Our vision is to accelerate innovation in the consumer care space to shorten the idea-to-market timespan.
In dialogue with brands, we have repeatedly been told: 'Developing new products is not just about sourcing ingredients'. Specifically, we were struck by the fact that brands need support from multiple different parties to develop and bring new products to the market. So, we thought we could ease the process for them by doing what we do best: connecting them with all relevant players. This way, brands have the time to do what they do best: focus on the development of new products.
Also, we observed that there are currently no digital solutions for service providers to present their offerings and to connect to potential customers online. Giving the service providers access and a dedicated space on Covalo is a new and sustainable business opportunity for them.
Q: What benefits does the new service provider offering give?
Covalo: For brands, it’s convenience in all kinds of sourcing and to speed up the innovation process. From day 1, Covalo has offered a fully digital solution to finding the right personal and home care ingredients. Now, by including service providers, we pave the way to become a one-stop-shop for brands, and came to our vision of accelerating innovation in the consumer care space one step closer. With this expansion, Covalo is making it easier to connect all the players you need to create new personal and home care products.
For service providers, it’s visibility to a qualified and engaged user base. We are witnessing a growing reliance on digital solutions, heightened in light of fair cancellations and travel restrictions. With the new feature of listing Service Providers on our index, we’re making sure that the service providers also have the chance to be represented digitally.
Q: Who can be listed as a service provider on Covalo?
Covalo: Having a comprehensive and qualitative index is one of our key priorities. We research our companies carefully and are in direct contact with them. For the new listing of service providers we were looking for companies with references in relevant areas such as project examples. In the future we are also looking for further service providers to include on our platform.
